Baker Beach Green Streets
San Francisco, CA
The Baker Beach Green Street project is one of eight Early Implementation Projects that will be constructed in San Francisco’s urban watersheds as part of the San Francisco Public Utility Commission’s (SFPUC) Sewer System Improvement Program. The project, currently in the design phase, implements green stormwater infrastructure at two sites within the Sea Cliff neighborhood in the Richmond watershed of San Francisco. The first location includes curb-to-curb permeable pavement on two blocks of Sea Cliff Avenue and a rain garden at the end of the adjacent 25th Avenue North cul-de-sac. The second project location includes slope stabilization, sediment and debris traps, bioretention cells, and infiltration basins along a 2,000-ft stretch of El Camino del Mar in Lincoln Park.
